What is Flat Roller Crusher

The Flat Roller Crusher is suitable for coarse and medium crushing of brittle blocky materials in industries such as cement, chemical industry, power, mining, metallurgy, building materials, refractory materials, and coal mines. It has a large feed particle size and adjustable discharge particle size, and can crush materials with compressive strength ≤160MPa.

The Flat Roller Crusher crushes the material by falling through the feed opening into the space between the two rollers for extrusion crushing, and the finished material falls naturally. When encountering hard or unbreakable materials, the rollers of the roller crusher can automatically retreat under the action of the hydraulic cylinder or spring, increasing the roller gap, allowing the hard or unbreakable materials to fall, thereby protecting the machine from damage. The two rollers rotating in opposite directions have a certain gap, and by changing the gap, the maximum discharge particle size of the product can be controlled. The double-roller crusher uses a pair of opposite rotating round rollers, while the four-roller crusher uses two pairs of opposite rotating round rollers for crushing operations.

The double roll crusher uses two independently driven rollers that rotate in opposite directions, generating extrusion and shearing forces to crush materials. Feed material enters through the inlet, is crushed by the rollers, and discharged naturally. If unbreakable or oversized materials are encountered, the hydraulic cylinders or springs automatically retract the rollers to widen the gap, allowing the material to fall through safely. The discharge size is adjusted by controlling the hydraulic or spring pressure.
